🥤 Ingredients

1 cup of ripe soursop pulp, without seeds

1 cup of milk or unsweetened plant-based milk

½ ripe banana 🍌

1 teaspoon of honey, optional

1 tablespoon of oats

A pinch of cinnamon, optional

3–4 ice cubes

A few drops of lemon — Λεμόνι (Lemóni), optional

👩‍🍳 Preparation

Carefully remove all the seeds from the soursop.

Place the pulp in the blender.

Add the milk or plant-based drink, the banana, the oats, and the honey.

Add the cinnamon and ice.

Blend for 30–60 seconds, until you get a creamy and smooth drink.

Taste it, and if you want a fresher touch, add a few drops of lemon.

Serve immediately and enjoy.

⚡ Why might it be a good energy smoothie?

Soursop provides carbohydrates, vitamin C, and other plant compounds. Bananas and oats add carbohydrates and fiber, while milk or plant-based milk can provide protein, depending on the type you use.

The combination can become a nutritious and satisfying breakfast or snack, especially when accompanied by a balanced diet.

🍈 What can soursop offer?

Soursop contains vitamin C, fiber, and various antioxidant compounds. Like other fruits, it can be part of a varied diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

However, its nutritional properties should not be confused with medicinal effects. Soursop does not cure cancer, detoxify the body, or replace medications or medical treatments.

💪 To make it even more complete

If you want a more nutritious and filling smoothie, you can add:

1 tablespoon of chia seeds.

1 tablespoon of peanut or almond butter.

Plain or Greek yogurt without added sugar to increase protein.

🌿 An interesting fact

Soursop is a tropical fruit with white, soft and creamy pulp, with a flavor that combines sweet and slightly acidic notes.

Its pulp can be used to prepare smoothies, juices, ice cream and other desserts.

⚠️ An important precaution

Do not eat the soursop seeds. Remove them carefully before preparing the smoothie.

Furthermore, although soursop is traditionally used in various preparations and folk remedies, there is not enough evidence to recommend it as a treatment for diseases.

Like any fruit, it is best enjoyed as part of a varied and balanced diet.

❤️ A delicious, tropical, and nutritious smoothie to enjoy in moderation.
